Junior Progression coaching June 27th

We are delighted to announce Bantham Boardriders, in Partnership with Discovery Surf School, are hosting the next 2026 regular junior ‘progression’ coaching session, on Saturday 27th june 1130am. 

If you want to attend please sign up by email here = trainingbbr@gmail.com = Please include the junior attendees name, BBR Surfing England membership number, age and ability level. Please ensure they are available and keen to attend. You will receive a confirmation mail to let you know we have received it. We can host a maximum of 10 attendees on a first come and served basis.

Key details about the coaching

Joining:

- Sat 27th June, be ready to shred and suited up by 11:30am.

- Meet at Discovery Van, Bantham Beach.

- £5 cash donation per Junior on the day towards this coaching session.

We are really excited about offering this opportunity, to help our promising young surfers progress.

This coaching is for:

- Keen and capable young surfers looking to significantly improve their performance and/or prepare for competition.

- Juniors who own their own equipment, can surf independently, have mastered the fundamentals, such as pop-ups, take-offs, bottom turns, trimming, and cutbacks.

- Committed students who are eager to listen, learn, and put in the effort to progress.

- Juniors whose parents are actively supportive and available nearby, either on the beach or in the water, if needed.

- Sessions will be held at Bantham Beach and last a minimum of 2 to 4 hours per session.

- The programme will be professionally led by fully qualified, experienced, Discovery Surf School coaches, with support both in and out of the water.

This coaching is not for:

- Beginner surfers (surf schools cater to this level).

- A childcare service.

- A casual day out at the beach.
